A few weeks ago, I had the honor of hosting the State of the Industry Film Summit at Trilith Studios.
Coming off producing Masters of Scale Summit, I knew I needed to be in the room for this one. I wanted to hear firsthand what’s happening in Georgia’s film industry—not just in Metro Atlanta, but across the entire state.
While I was transitioning back to Atlanta, I kept hearing disheartening stories about the film industry and how it was impacting my tribe financially and professionally. It worried me. But the State of the Industry summit showed me a different picture.
I left feeling optimistic and reenergized. There’s real momentum in the pipeline for Atlanta, and our combination of innovation and Southern hospitality is what sets us apart.
