Dear HousingPlus,
Thank you for selecting me to host your 2023 Spring Benefit Event. I was so honored to set the tone in the room and carry out the energy between speakers and guests. Helping you all fundraise during the program was a highlight of my hosting career. I didn’t know that I could hold you all down during that part (I’m horrible at asking for money) but I faced that fear and kept it moving. What a great time!

Thank you to Maya Wiley, Fox Rich and Rev. Sharon White-Harrigan for your presence, your words. Your stories touched every fiber in my soul. Thank you Rita Zimmer for creating HousingPlus. Your vision along with your blood, sweat and tears, continues to provide housing and services for women and their families both concrete assistance and the tools that they need to move forward. You and your team are literally saving lives. Thank you for trusting me.

I was so moved being in that room with so many beautiful souls that were there to celebrate the accomplishments of HousingPlus and give in a generous way so they can keep their mission going. I encourage you to read more about the work that they are doing here in New York and beyond.
