InJoy Enterprises returns to the Apollo Music Cafe to curate another show. It's the last show of the season so you know it's got to be something special and it is. This edition of the Apollo Music Cafe stars none other than international independent artist Darien Dean!
Darien Dean is an artist with a purpose. Hailing from Mount Vernon, New York, this soul singer burst onto the scene with alluring vocals and a distinctive stage presence. Fed a healthy diet of Hip Hop and Classic Soul, this multi-talented MC, singer, and dancer, honed his abilities as a producer, arranger and engineer to craft a unique and authentic approach to contemporary songwriting.
Darien has performed around the world and shares those influences in his CD trilogy "Notes From The Journey". The first two CD's "Departures" and "Detours have been met with critical acclaim and the third EP entitled "Destinations" will be released shortly. This collection of stellar music features appearances from Avery Sunshine, Mike Phillips (Stevie Wonder, Prince), David P. Stephens, Jason Heerah(X-factor Australia), Collette, Tiffany Tzelle, Queen Rose and UK soul icon Omar among others.
